Left from Archer River about 8.30 and travelled over kms of corrugations, until eventually arriving at Weipa. We had to wait at the crossing for the big haul trucks to pass.
We set up camp and had a look around before heading off to the bowls club to watch the Grand Final. Everybody, bar one old lady, was supporting Geelong.
